There has been a conflict between the army and the police. They think they can do everything. The people were present in the house. They made the four police officers their slaves. Will this be settled? Has this incident been decided by a policy? And the political angling that is being done on this. 

Bahawalnagar Incident

Let's discuss the incident that took place in Bhawalnagar. And let's also talk about the political angling that is taking place on this issue from the different parties. First of all, I will present the news that I have received from the sources of the channel.

And then we will evaluate it. Basically, a news started circulating on social media that the Bhawalnagar police station was under the direct attack of Pakistan Army. Basically what happened was, 2 police officers were on patrol and they tried to stop the suspects during a protest a few days ago. They fled and later entered the house. Four police officers, SHO, ASI and two constables followed them and entered the house. They did not have any lady police with them. These male police officers entered the house.

When they entered the house they made these four police officers including the SHO were abducted and their video was made and put on social media and on 8th April this incident was reported.

now here the people ask that why the police entered their house without search warrant and lady police? And the police allegation was that they were accused of money laundering and there were no such people who were being traced.

 After that, the Geo News reported. On 10th April, the police has filed a case against 4 people including SHO Rizwan Abassi, ASI and 2 constables. Police legal proceedings will be brought into effect. After that, the other details that came up were that the house where the police basically raided was the house of an SSG commando. And later, when the police were arrested for filing a case against the activists, which the Geo reported, someone made a statement that they were not actually arrested. and this is wrong. The same police officers have not been arrested, they are free. On 10th April, on Eid, the soldiers reach the police station, break everything, damage the front desk, and the police officers are tortured. All four officers are beaten up and their videos are made So this is basically, the news we have so far is that this incident has actually happened.

Impact on Politics

 After that, obviously, the political entities, Pakistan PTI, PML-N both jump PML-N is from the Punjab government. You know that there is a series of protests against the army for the past few months. They said, what they have done to the police. This incident highlights the persistent conflicts between several institutions and their respective functions and powers.

Conclusion

There are clashes between institutions and the people. Is this a policy? That the army has come to the police and stood up? Overall, the institution has come to the police and stood up?
